Terms and Conditions
All our services and offers are subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).You can access the text of these terms of use at any time in the DENT App (“App”) under the menu item "Account". For printing or saving, a web version of these terms is also available at https://www.denttelecom.io/terms-and-conditions.
1. Introduction
DENT offers international eSIM packages that provide almost worldwide internet access without incurring roaming charges. Our focus is on providing the user with maximum flexibility. That’s why, through our App, you can not only purchase data packages (“Data Packages”) and voice plans (“Voice Plans”) but also resell unused data volume on our marketplace (“Marketplace”).
Our Data Packages and Voice Plans (“Services”) are paid for in Dent credits (“DENTs”) or via other offered payment methods in the DENT App. You can purchase DENTs through our app. Here as well, we remain committed to our principle of providing users with maximum flexibility. That's why we allow you to withdraw existing tokens. Payouts are made in ERC20 tokens on Ethereum or on DENTNet.
We regularly enable users to unlock free DENTs. Any earned DENTs may be used to purchase Data Packages or Voice Plans but may not be withdrawn.
2. Information About Us
www.denttelecom.io, www.dent-app.com and the associated mobile applications are operated, and the Services are provided by DENT Telecom GmbH. DENT Telecom GmbH is a private limited company incorporated in Germany at the local court 07745 Jena under the commercial register number HRB 521466 and registered offices at Löbdergraben 29, 07743 Jena, Germany. DENT Telecom is a registered business name of DENT Telecom GmbH.

3. DENT-Account and general use of our platform
a. Registration, user ID and Password
In order to use our services, you have to sign up through our app. To set up an account (“Account”) you must register on the App. You can do this by filling out the appropriate information on the registration screen on the App or by following the instructions from third-party interfaces like Google and Apple. It is your obligation to give truthful, accurate and complete information in the registration form. Failure to fulfill this obligation may prevent us from providing our services properly. Additionally, it may prevent as from accurately assigning transfers to and from your Account.
If you register with your email address, you will need to set your personal password. Make sure to remember it well and do not share it with third parties. Dent will never ask you for your password outside of the login process within the App. Upon registration we will send a confirmation via email to the provided address and you will be given an Account, which allows you to use our services.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain a parent/guardian's consent prior to using the App. If you are an employee of a company or other entity or are acting on behalf of a company or entity, you must be authorized to accept the terms and conditions of use on behalf of that employer, company or entity.
Each Account is assigned with a specific “User ID”. If you registered with your email address (or a Google or Apple account details), the email address (or a from Google or Apple provided email address) will be your user ID. If your Account was created before December 2021 you can continue to log in with your mobile number. Each User ID must be used by a single user and is not transferable. Any additional account opening without our knowledge and authorization may result in the suspension and/or termination of your account(s).
To use the App, you must authenticate yourself with your user credentials (User ID and password). If you have lost or forgotten your password, you can request a new one online at any time. All you need is your User ID and access to the email address or mobile number registered with DENT.
You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential. Please notify us without undue delay if you suspect that an unauthorized person has gained knowledge of your access credentials for the App. We shall not be liable for any damages resulting from a culpably omitted or delayed notification to the extent that such damages are attributable to your contributory negligence. We are entitled, in the event of a specific suspicion of misuse, e.g. due to unusual collection or redemption activities that are typically associated with fraudulent activities, to suspend your Account for redemptions and to transmit your data to an affected partner, as well as to law enforcement and other authorities. See also the "Privacy Notice."
b. Necessary update of user information
You can always correct or update your personal information given in the registration process in your Account.
If you registered before 2021 and are using your phone number as your user ID, should you need to change your registered mobile phone number, please contact Customer Care to reinstate access to your Account (see “Customer Care & Contact Information” below). This Agreement will apply to the use of Services.
c. Hardware requirements and future updates
The equipment and devices necessary to access the App shall be provided and be maintained by you solely at your expense. If you access the App through a mobile device, you may be charged by your mobile service provider for internet access on your device.
You can download the App compatible with your operating system from the App Store (Apple) or the Google Play Store (Android). DENT Telecom reserves the right to modify equipment and software requirements as is necessary for it to continue or improve the provision of Services through the mobile applications and to comply with § 327f German Civil Code (“BGB”). You are solely responsible for ensuring that you download any subsequent updates to the mobile applications from the relevant app store.
d. Maintenance and Availability
From time to time it may be necessary or desirable for security reasons, maintenance (whether emergency or planned), upgrades or other reasons to:
- make the App or Services unavailable to you; and/or
- delay implementation of any new Services; and/or
- withdraw, replace or reissue your password; and/or
- change authentication procedures or processes for accessing the App or the Services while using reasonable endeavors to minimize any inconvenience caused.
Where DENT Telecom changes authentication procedures for accessing the Apps or the Services therein, notwithstanding any other terms of this Agreement, DENT Telecom may introduce these procedures by giving instructions to you via the App in respect of which such procedures are being introduced.
e. Notices
Save where expressly provided, any notice required to be given by DENT Telecom to you in connection with the subject matter of our App and our Services may be given through the App or by email.
f. Your Contribution
Where you send DENT Telecom any feedback, suggestions, ideas or other materials in relation to or via the App or the Services provided, you agree that DENT Telecom can use, reproduce, publish, modify, adapt and transmit the communication mentioned above to others free of charge and without restriction, subject to DENT Telecom’s terms as stated in the “Your Data” section.
g. Intellectual Property Rights
You are granted the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App within the scope of the Services for private, non-commercial purposes.
The App and its content are protected by copyright, trademark and other industrial property rights. We or our licensors are entitled to these rights.
The following in particular are prohibited without our prior written consent
- Commercial use of the app
- Editing, redesigning or otherwise modifying the app
- Reproduction of the App beyond the scope required for contractual use
Your rights under Sections 44a et seq. of the German Copyright Act (UrhG), in particular to make backup copies and to correct errors, remain unaffected.
The “Dent” trademark and the associated logo as well as the “Dent Telecom” Trademark and all associated logo are protected trademarks of our company. The same applies to the domain www.denttelecom.io.

h. Termination of your Account
DENT Telecom may terminate your Account and withdraw the use of the App and/or the Services provided through it:
(i) upon reasonable prior written notice to you;
(ii) immediately upon breach by you of any of the Terms and Conditions or where there exist serious grounds for termination.
(iii) if it reasonably believes that any of the Services have been used negligently, illegally or fraudulently by you, or by a third party as a result of your negligence or recklessness.
You may terminate or cancel your Account at any time without reason by giving DENT Telecom notice via the App or alternatively written notice to that effect, but without prejudice to your liability for any outstanding indebtedness on any Account or otherwise prior to the date of termination. If you exercise your right of termination, DENT Telecom will not refund any remaining DENT credits, Data Packages or Voice Plans on your Account.
If you are not using the DENT App for more than one year, we will terminate your account after giving previous notice via email.
4. DENT Services and Cost
After registration, you may want to take advantage of the Services:
The Services shall only be provided to you by DENT Telecom and its partners in respect of the mobile operators available on the App which are subject to change and availability.
a. Data Packages with DENT eSIM
We offer Data Packages to connect to the internet from several countries by installing a free DENT eSIM on your device. The DENT eSIM is embedded in your Data Package without the need of a physical SIM card.
In order to get a Data Package, you must first verify by checking in the App, the specifications of your device and with your current carrier, that your device is a supported device for the installation of the eSIM. Installed eSIM only work in supported countries. While we are happy to provide you with a list of supported countries, this list is only based on our current knowledge. It is not in our power to ensure at all times that this list is up to date. Changes may also occur in the future, which could result in certain countries no longer being supported. Please note that even if you have a supported device, it may happen that after you purchase of a Data Package your installed DENT eSIM gets locked in some countries due to reasons beyond our control.
You may choose a Data Package and place an order by paying with your DENT balance or via other offered payment methods in the DENT App. You will be then requested to set up your DENT eSIM profile on your device. If purchases with ETH or any ERC20 token are available in your region, be aware that all payments will be performed on Ethereum.
Please note that when using your DENT eSIM you will be on roaming which may affect your device’s behaviour (e.g. the settings of your device or higher battery drain).
Your DENT eSIM data will expire according to what is described on the Data Package. The expiration time will start counting down at the moment of the purchase. Any unused portion of data shall be forfeited by us without reimbursement.
Please note that a DENT eSIM belongs to the user and is associated with the user identification information provided by you when registering with the DENT App. If you therefore sell or give away your device you must ensure that you erase your eSIM first to avoid that other individuals use your eSIM in your own name.
b. DENT Voice Plans
We offer Voice Plans to make voice calls and call your family and friends around the world in selected countries by using your DENTs.
You will need to have a working internet connection. Quality of the call will not depend on us but on the mobile operator and telecommunication systems in each country. Some countries are not supported for DENT calls. You will be able to verify in our list of supported countries if your country is amongst them.
You will be able to know for each designated country the number of hours/minutes available with your DENT Voice Plan and at the end of your voice call you will be able to see the amount of voice hours/minutes remaining balance.
Please note that voice calls under DENT Voice Plans cannot be used for emergency calls.
c. DENT Marketplace
You might have the option to top-up your data balance or to sell any data left in the Marketplace.
You may buy and sell Data Packages by using the DENT Marketplace platform. You may also buy or sell these Data Packages by using DENTs or other payment methods. You may place orders at any time at a price set by you and within permissible market parameters (the parameters are set by DENT).
The contractual partner of every sale is DENT. Whether DENT accepts an offer to purchase data packages depends on whether DENT has found a subsequent buyer. Therefore, DENT cannot guarantee that you will be able to trade your DENTs and mobile data on the open market at any particular price or time, when using the Marketplace.
You can verify your transactions which will allow you to see the date, amount, and transaction details of each of your purchased and sold Data Packages in the Marketplace in your transaction history of your App. You can verify your balance of DENTs and mobile data. For mobile data you can verify your remaining data volume of Data Packages available and their expiry date. For DENTs you will be able to check the total balance in DENTs including bonus, rewards, and DENTs obtained from selling mobile data on the Marketplace. You can verify your pending offers of mobile data on the Marketplace. You will be able to check the time of placement of the order, the expiry date of the mobile data and the amount of DENTs that you will earn. You can cancel your pending offers, without incurring any cancellation fee, always provided that an offer has not been fully executed.
Restriction on Marketplace
Data Packages obtained as join-in bonuses, Rewards, or placed in orders shall not qualify for selling in the Marketplace.
d. DENTs
Getting DENTs
To provide the Services across different countries, the App works with DENT credits (“DENTs”), which you can purchase using a payment card, PayPal or other payment systems as available in various countries. These credits can then be used on the App to, for example, purchase Data Packages and DENT Voice Plans from the App. DENTs do not have a fixed value in terms of voice minutes or data volume. The offers for Voice Plans or Data Packages in exchange for credits are subject to market fluctuations and may vary depending on the respective current offer for the voice and data market in a particular country.
You can also transfer DENTs to other accounts. To transfer DENTs, accounts on DENTNet and Ethereum are supported. For transferring DENTs, fees can apply that may vary depending on the target network and the amount of DENTs.
Suppose purchases with ETH or any ERC20 token are available in your region. In that case, all transactions, like deposits, or payments, will be performed on Ethereum.
Earn Free DENTs and Data Packages
You will be given the opportunity to earn free DENTs or Data Packages (“Rewards”) by unlocking daily rewards. To unlock the Rewards you may be asked to install applications, watch promotional videos, and take a survey or other tasks that DENT may introduce from time to time. Reward offers expire; therefore you must unlock them in time before they become unavailable.
The Rewards earned may only be used by you in the DENT App. DENTs or Data Packages claimed will be automatically added to your DENT account.
Please note that some offers for Rewards may not be accessible in some countries therefore if you move to another country, Rewards may no longer be accessible for you.
You are reminded of DENT’s policy of one account per person only. In the event that DENT will verify beyond reasonable doubt that you have opened multiple accounts with us in order to earn multiple Rewards, we have the right, at our discretion, to deactivate the Reward and/or suspend and/or terminate your account(s).
Promotions
From time to time, DENT Telecom will run promotions on the App. These promotions will be subject to additional terms and conditions and such terms and conditions (including the closing date for any promotion) will be displayed clearly on the App. As a marketing incentive, Dent can assign welcome tokens to users balance, for example after a successful registration.
Deposit and Withdraw DENTs
Depositing DENTs
If you have DENTs on a DENTNet account already, you can transfer them to your DENT App. You shall use the latest deposit address that can be found in the “Deposit” section of your DENT App account. When you transfer DENTs to a different deposit address, your DENTs will not be usable in your DENT App and will be lost.
You shall only send DENT tokens from DENTNet using your unique deposit address of your DENT App. Other assets sent to the DENT app deposit address will be lost.
You are solely responsible for any transmissions conducted via DENTNet. Please refer to the FAQ section of www.dent-app.com/faqs and the publicly available DENTNet documentation for details.
Withdrawal of DENTs
You can withdraw your DENTs from your Account subject to the following requirements and limitations. Withdrawals shall be subject to limits depending on the level of verification of your Account. Each withdrawal shall be charged with a fee in DENTs, which will be displayed on your screen before you authorize the withdrawal. Please check our section below on restrictions on withdrawals.
Withdrawals are also conditional to a one-time verification of your Account with us. If you have already been verified, you can proceed with withdrawals; otherwise, you need to make a purchase in the Dent App by using PayPal, credit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. The verification will take some days, after which you will receive a notification that your verification was successfully completed.
Wallet compatibility
Withdrawal of DENTs can be done by sending your DENTs into a compatible wallet of your preference. Dent only supports ERC20 tokens on Ethereum and DENTNet. All withdrawals shall target wallets that support Ethereum or DENTNet; otherwise, the transaction could result in the loss of funds. It is solely your duty to verify that your wallet runs on a compatible network with our DENT tokens. Please note that we will not be held responsible in the event that your wallet is not compatible with our Dent tokens and your DENTs go misplaced. In such cases, no refunds or compensation for losses can be claimed with us. Please also note that withdrawals do not mean that your DENTs can be exchanged with fiat to refund the price paid by you for your DENTs. Withdrawal means that your DENTs will be simply moved from one wallet to another.
Selection of Withdrawal Wallet
You may add a wallet address of your choice in the Dent App and save it for future withdrawals. Wallet addresses can be inserted by scanning their QR codes or inserted manually. Although our system will help you to ensure that the correct address has been inserted by warning you, we will not be responsible in the event that you have inserted a wrong wallet address that our system did not recognize as incorrect, and as a consequence, your DENTs go misplaced.
Fees
Your withdrawal order will be subject to a variable fee based on the amount to be withdrawn and the network which shall be charged to you in DENTs and will be automatically deducted from your Account. Please note there is a minimum fee chargeable and accordingly a minimum withdrawal limit that you may verify when inputting the desired amount of DENTs to be withdrawn.
Notification
Successful withdrawal shall be followed by a confirmation setting the amount deposited in your new wallet and the new wallet address. In the event that the withdrawal is unrealized you will also be notified and your DENTs should be credited back to your account. In the event your DENTs should not be credited back you may contact our support team.
It may occur that DENT Telecom decides, for legal or technical or discretionary reason, to discontinue or suspend the withdrawal services.
Possible discontinuance of Withdrawal
Unless the reason for discontinuance or suspension is beyond our control we will notify you at least 30 days in advance of the notice of discontinuance.
During the 30 days’ notice period you will be allowed to withdraw your DENTs. Upon the expiry of our notice, you will no longer be able to withdraw your DENTs, and you shall not hold us responsible for any loss that the discontinuance of the service may cause to you.
You also acknowledge that we may immediately terminate the withdrawal services without following the process set out above, in case the removal is urgently required for compliance with any laws or request from a recognized authority, and for such loss of service, you will not hold us responsible.
Restriction on Withdrawals
DENTs obtained as join-in bonuses, Rewards, or placed in orders shall not qualify for withdrawals. You will be shown your available balance for withdrawal which may not necessarily match your total balance of DENTs in your DENT wallet.
To protect you from fraud, your withdrawals may be limited to certain amounts for every 24 hours period. Such limitations shall be automatically displayed on your display and will reflect the level of account verification successfully completed by you. We reserve the right to change the limits as we deem appropriate.
Even if you have successfully completed our enhanced due diligence, we may refuse to raise your limits without providing you with any explanation.
Restriction on Blockchains
Ethereum and DENTNet are decentralized blockchains not operated by DENT Telecom. Any usage for deposing or withdrawals is on your own risk. The providers of these technologies are independent third parties over whom we exercise neither legal nor actual control.
Affiliate Program
By joining the Affiliate program, you accept the following terms and conditions of the program. The affiliate program allows you to earn commissions by promoting the DENT app to your audience.
The commission of each sponsor purchase would be available for withdrawal sometime after the transaction. The default time is two weeks, but it may change according to fraud regulations in the future. At that moment, your earnings will be available for withdrawal following the withdrawal rules.
The Affiliate Program may be discontinued at any time. If this happens, there will be a three-month notice period before the service stops. If the Affiliate Program is discontinued, affiliates will no longer receive commissions from their sponsor's purchases. However, any DENTs earned from the Affiliate Program will not be affected by its discontinuation. You can still use your DENTs within the DENT app or withdraw your balance according to the withdrawal rules.
As an affiliate, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner when promoting the app. Any fraudulent behavior will not be tolerated. DENT reserves the right to terminate your participation in the affiliate program and block the DENT accounts that engage in dishonest behaviors without notice. Upon termination, any unpaid commissions will be forfeited.
Your statutory warranty rights for the technical usability of the affiliate program in accordance with the contractual agreements remain unaffected.
Our liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health is unlimited. The same applies to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, in the event of breaches of warranty and for claims under the Product Liability Act. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, our liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfilment enables the proper implementation of the affiliate program and on whose compliance you may regularly rely. Otherwise, our liability for slightly negligent breaches of non-essential contractual obligations is excluded.
We strive for a high average availability of the affiliate program, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Restrictions or interruptions may be necessary in particular for maintenance, security or capacity reasons.
e. Third Party Services and Information
Some of the products and services which may be offered for sale, through the App or through other services that DENT Telecom may offer to you may be submitted, created, provided or developed by third parties.
5. Variations of the Agreement
DENT Telecom reserves the right to amend or supplement these Terms and Conditions with your consent, particularly if necessary to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the App. Any such changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated to you in advance by email or within the App. They will be deemed accepted unless you expressly object within four weeks of receiving the notice. You will be explicitly reminded of this right to object in the notification.
If you object to the amended Terms and Conditions,
- you have the right to terminate the agreement without notice for cause, and
- DENT has the right to terminate the agreement without notice for cause, provided such termination is necessary for DENT and does not unfairly disadvantage you contrary to good faith.
DENT will inform you once again about these potential consequences of rejecting the amended Terms and Conditions of use when announcing the respective changes.
6. Links to other Apps
Some pages on the Apps may contain hypertext links to Apps not created or maintained by DENT Telecom. You are hereby adequately notified and forewarned that when entering other Apps via such hypertext links, the terms and conditions, benefits, and privacy protections afforded by the Apps will not be applicable and you must make yourself aware of and become compliant with the requirements of those individual independently maintained Apps or webpages. DENT Telecom is not liable in any way for the content, availability or use of such linked Apps and you agree that you may access such links entirely at your own risk.
7. No Third Party Rights and No Assignment
You agree that you have entered into this Agreement for your own benefit and not for the benefit of another person.
8. Limited Liability
Insofar as these Terms and Conditions do not limit liability in a more specific provision, the following shall apply: In cases of intent and gross negligence, including that of its legal representatives and agents, DENT Telecom is liable in accordance with statutory provisions. DENT Telecom is also liable under statutory provisions for damages culpably caused by injury to life, body, or health, for damages caused by the absence of a guaranteed quality, and in cases of fraudulently concealed defects.
For material and financial damages caused by slight negligence on the part of DENT Telecom, its legal representatives, or agents, liability is limited to the breach of an essential contractual obligation, and the amount of liability is capped at the foreseeable, contract-typical damage at the time the contract was concluded. Essential contractual obligations are those that are necessary for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance you may regularly rely.
Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
In all other respects, the liability of Dent Telecom is excluded.
9. Governing Law
All contracts, agreements and other legal relationships between you and DENT Telecom, including these Terms and Conditions, are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), without prejudice to any mandatory conflict of laws and applicable consumer protection provisions.
